To reduce the risk of injury, user must
read tool instruction manual before operating product.
To reduce the risk of serious personal
injury, turn tool off and disconnect tool from power
source before installing and removing accessories,
before adjusting or changing set-ups or when making
repairs. An accidental start-up can cause injury.
Since accessories other than those offered
by Porter-Cable have not been tested with this product,
use of such accessories could be hazardous. For safest
operation, only Porter-Cable recommended accessories
should be used with this product.
TO ASSEmBLE DUST COLLECTION SHROUD
The dust collection shroud requires some assembly.
You will need the 5/32" hex wrench included with the
dust shroud and the square driver included with your
OMNIJIG ® .
1. Attach short assembly rod (A) Fig. 1 to support
bar (B) at hole (Q), which is the smaller of the two
end holes. To attach, use the included washer (C)
and button head hex screw (D). The assembly rod
should extend from the side of the support bar
where the countersinks (R) Fig. 3 can be seen.
NOTE: See Fig. 2 for what final assembly should look
like.
2. Attach the longer assembly rod (E) (Fig. 4) to the
support bar (B) and the dust shroud. First, insert
the hole end of the long rod (E) through the larger
end hole (F) in the support bar and down through
the hole (G) in the dust shroud.
