ASSEMBLING INSTRUCTIONS
A)
USE AND CONNECTIONS
•
This connector is appropriate for patients up to 125 kg, carried load included.
•
The 1K184 connector can be connected at its upper part 1 to any female
pyramid component A (1K172, ...), and at its lower part 2 to any M36 tapped
male component B with 1.5 pitch (1P200-KD knee, ...).
B)
INSTALLATION ONTO THE PROSTHESIS
•
Screw the 1K184 connector on the tapped component B
until you reach the thread root.
•
Check that the a1 screws of connector A are in the sagittal
plane.
•
If there are not so, you can slightly unscrew the 1K184
connector so that the screws be well positioned.
CAUTION : Never unscrew the 1K184 connector by more than
a quarter turn. Otherwise the assembly would get fragile.
•
Tighten screw 3 of the 1K184 connector up to 7.4 Nm.
•
To install component A, please refer to its instruction sheet.

All the items of this product are made of stainless steel and should be recycled
according to the law in force.

VERWENDUNG UND VERBINDUNGEN
•
Dieser Adapter ist für Patienten bis zu 125 kg (inklusive zu tragender Last)
geeignet.
•
Der Adapter 1K184 kann am proximalen Ende 1 mit jeder weiblichen
Pyramidenaufnahme A (1K172, ...) und am distalen Ende mit jedem männli-
chen Gewindekomponent B mit Gewindesteigung 1.5 (Knie 1P200-KD, ...)
verwendet werden.
B)
EINSETZEN AUF DER PROTHESE
•
Den Adapter 1K184 auf dem Komponent B bis zum
Berühren den Gewindekern hineindrehen.
•
Überprüfen, dass die Schrauben a1 in der Sagittalebene
sind.
•
Sonst können Sie den 1K184 Adapter etwas herausdrehen,
so dass die Schrauben gut positionert werden.
VORSICHT : den Adapter 1K184 um mehr als eine Viertel-
drehung nie herausdrehen, denn es könnte die Verbindung
gefährden.
•
Die Schraube 3 des Adapters 1K184 bis zum Drehmoment
7.4 Nm anziehen.
•
Beim Einsetzen des Komponents A, seine Montageanlei-
tung achten.
