INSTALLATION AND CONFIGURATION

1. Unpack the Control Gateway and plug it into the source of power using the power adapter.
2. Connect your smartphone to Wi-Fi (2.4GHz) and log in to your Perenio Smart app Account (or download
the mobile application from Google Play or Apple Store and register a new User Account). Then, click on the
"+" icon in the "Devices" tab and follow connection tips specified on the screen. Complete connection process.
3. Click on the Control Gateway image in the "Devices" tab to manage its functionality.
SAFETY OPERATION RULES
The Device MUST NOT be switched off or disconnected from the mains for at least 5 minutes after the RESET
Button is pressed, as well as for at least 10 minutes after the firmware update process is started. The Device
must not be installed outdoors or exposed to moisture, dust, marine air, etc. Storage and transportation
conditions, as well as working temperature ranges shall be observed. It is not allowed to drop, throw or
disassemble the device, as well as attempt to repair it on one's own.
TROUBLESHOOTING
1. Initial connection of the Control Gateway to Wi-Fi failed: Restore factory settings by pressing the reset
button for 10 seconds when the Control Gateway is powered on.
2. The Control Gateway does not activate in the app when Ethernet-connected: This function is currently
unavailable.
3. The Control Gateway does not connect due to Wi-Fi of 5GHz error: Wrong Wi-Fi router settings. Enable the
Wi-Fi access point of 2.4GHz.
