PRECAUTIONS

After reading this manual, please keep it for later reference.
Power supply
The product and the transmitter have lithium polymer battery built in. Be sure to
turn the power switch to OFF when the product is not in use. Please charge the
product when the low battery indicator alarms. When
the product is not used for a long period, please charge the product every six
months in order to extend the built in battery's cycling life and safety.
Handling
To avoid breakage, please do not apply excessive force to the switch buttons or
other controls.
Care
If the exterior becomes dirty, wipe it with a clean and dry cloth. Do not apply liquid
cleansers such as: benzene, diluter, or other cleansers that contain fl ammable
compounds.
MAIN FEATURES
With SZ-WGT you can tune instruments using the infrared wireless
transmitter (remote distance) or internal mic (close range);
• Large and high contrast orange color backlight display, you may clearly see the
changing indicator even in a 5 meters' distance;
• Multiple ways to indicate the tuning process;

USING THE TUNER
Two tuning modes: Infrared wireless tuning and Mic tuning.
10 1. Infrared wireless tuning:
(1) Take off the transmitter by pushing it to position " ", shown as picture 1;
(2) Put the transmitter on the clip, shown as picture 2. Clip the transmitter onto an

instrument, shown as picture 3.
(3) Press power buttons " " on both the main machine and transmitter

(tuner is On, the red indicator on transmitter is On.)
(4) Turn the transmitter towards the tuner: if the icon (as picture 4 shows) appears
on the tuner display-a successful connection. If the icon (as picture 6 shows)
appears-transmitting signal.
(5) Select tuning item, press ITEM button. Turn the knob to select calibration
(440Hz preset). Press KEY button when tuning wind instrument. After selecting
the tuning items, you may begin the wireless tuning.
ATTENTION
1. If the wireless connection stops over 10 seconds, the infrared wireless tuning
mode will automatically change into the Mic tuning mode.
2. When you use the wireless tuning, pressing TAP button to change the tuning
mode to Mic tuning. However, when the main machine receiving the signal

again, the tuning mode will automatically change to wireless tuning.
2. Mic tuning:

(1) When use the mic tuning mode, the transmitter must be put back onto the
tuner. (as picture 5 shows)

(2) Please place your instrument as close as possible to the mic so that the
extraneous sound is not picked up while tuning.
(3) Select tuning item, press ITEM button. Turn the knob to select calibration
(440Hz preset).
3. Tuning indication:
Playing a single note on your instrument, the right note name of the input sound
will appear in the center of the display. Under G, B, U, V tuning items, the screen
will also show the number of the string being tuned.
The meters will move during the tuning process:
when the meter stays in the middle, the green indicator lights up; cent indicator
in the range of ±3 cents: in tune;
when the meter stays in the left, the left red indicator lights up, the cent indicator
appears negative: fl at note;
when the meter stays in the right, the right red indicator lights up, the cent
indicator appears positive: sharp note.

USING THE METRONOME
1. Press and hold the power button "~" to turn on the product. It enters the preset
tuner mode. Then press and hold the "T/M " button to switch into metronome
mode.

2. Press button "BEAT" (button 8) to choose the beat out of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
3. Turn the tempo knob (knob 12) to select a tempo ranging from 40 to 208BPM;
you can also set a tempo by TAP button.
4. Press button " "(button 11) to change the rhythm.

5. Press button" "(button 10) to start I stop metronome. The meter pendulum will
move to the beat and tempo. LED indicator will also light up accordingly.
6. Change the volume by turning the volume knob.
7. Use a 3.5mm gauge, stereo earphone to listen to the metronome.
The speaker will be mute while using the earphone.
ATTENTION
1. All the settings of this tuner/ metronome will be automatically saved after
power Off.
2. Use the stand to adjust a best viewing angle of tuner and metronome.
BATTERY SAVE FUNCTION
1. Under tuner mode, the tuner and transmitter will automatically turn off if there is
no signal detection in 3 minutes.
2. Under metronome mode, if the metronome is not started in 3 minutes, the
machine will turn off automatically.
3. The transmitter will turn off automatically in 10 minutes after being put back into
the main unit.
RECHARGING AND LOW BATTERY ALERT
1. The main product and the transmitter contains built-in lithium polymer battery.
Putting the transmitter back into the main product and using the USB cable
to recharge. Connect the USB cable to your cell phone power adapter, your
computer or your portable power bank to recharge the power.
2. Power indicator on the main product:
full power volume
75% power
50% power
25% power
10% power (low power alarm, power Off automatically in 10 seconds)
under recharging process
3. The indicators on the transmitter:
full power volume
and the red indicator fl ashes fast- low power alarm;
fl ashes, and the red indicator fl ashes slowly- under power
recharging process;
The red indicator will be Off after the transmitter power is fully

recharged.
4. Work and recharge duration:
Main host continuous work duration (tuner mode) ≈ 30 hours
Transmitter continuous work duration ( tuner mode) ≈ 20 hours
