Congratulations on the purchase of your new Flow Switch Plus. This device has been designed and
manufactured with exacting specifications for quality, performance and reliability of the system.
Each individual part has been extensively tested in order to meet these stringent requirements.
FUNCTION
The Flow Switch Plus is the ideal protection for an electrical device in your pond or pool installation,
such as a UV-C device or other device rated at up to 10 amps, for which it is desirable that it is
switched off once the water flow stops. Thanks to the compact design, the Flow Switch Plus is very
easy to install. Using the special tee fitting, the flow switch can be easily integrated into your new or
existing piping.

INSTALLATION
• Choose a location for the Flow Switch Plus where the device will be protected against moisture,
dirt and direct sunlight as well as possible.
• Mount the Flow Switch Plus on a stable wall, at an easily accessible location.
• Use screws and, if necessary, plugs suitable for the surface.
• Integrate the tee fitting in a horizontal pipe run, with the flow switch connection at the top,
using PVC adhesive. Note that the adhesive connections must be made without stress and be
sufficiently dry before water is let into the system.
• If earthing of the device that is to be connected is desirable or necessary, it is important that the
Flow Switch Plus is connected to an earthed mains socket protected by a residual-current device.
