Should the numbers fail to coincide, the programmer will return
to "(Choose function)" without the operation being validated,
which will momentarily be indicated with the following screen:
In the opposite case, a short beep together with the momentary appearance of a confirmation
screen will validate the new password and the programmer will return to "(Choose function)".
4.10 INSERT INSTALLATION "TM + PIN PROTECT" FUNCTION FOR RECEIVERS
Press and together and the following screen will
appear:
Then key in the four figures of the installation's PIN. As you
press the numbers, they will appear on the display, for instance,
if the PIN is "1234", the display will show:
Once the code has been entered, press and another dis-
play will tell you to insert the receiver memory card:
Finally, insert the receiver memory card and press , a short
beep and the momentary appearance of the confirmation dis-
play will indicate that the operation has been carried out
correctly.
Once complete, another display will show the following installation PIN (the previous number
increased by one) (1235) and this PIN may be inserted for a new memory card.
The CE marking on this apparatus means that it complies with the dispositions set out in
directives 89/336/CEE on electromagnetic compatibility.
