GENERAL
LT-aSENSE-5000-R is a detector for measuring the
concentration of carbon dioxide in cold storage. It contains a
special heat source that enables the detector to function in
o
temperatures down to -30 C. The display (option) shows the
momentarily concentration plus an average value that is time
weighed for the latest eight hours, a so-called TWA-value.
The relay of the CO -concentration is calibrated so that it closes

at 2000 ppm and opens again at 1800 ppm.
FUNCTION
LT-aSENSE-5000-R is a microprocessor based carbon dioxide
transmitter for installation in cold storage. The detector
measures the concentration continuously and the analogue
output is proportionate to the concentration. The automatic
calibration (ABC-function) is the key for maintenance free
operation. The condition is normal indoor environment, or
applications where some kind of ventilation exists (minimum
some sort of ventilation during a 7 day period).
MAINTENANCE
In normal installations the LT-aSENSE is maintenance free if
the automatic calibration (ABC) is activated. An inspection of
the transmitter every year is recommended.
Equipment for zero (0)-calibration is available.
