1. Place 8 25 kg concrete slabs or 4 60
kg concrete slabs in the slab stand
(see figure A).
2. Pull the shade mast with the pole
foot 1 horizontally onto the slab
stand so that the two smaller holes 2
are over the corresponding holes on
the base plate 3 (see figure B).
3. Put the washers 6 and snap rings 5 in
place and screw the size 12 hexagon
socket screws 4 tight with a size 10
hex key (see figure B).
4. Erect the shade mast with the pole
foot (see figure C).
Please note: We recommend hav-
ing at least 2 other people help you
erect the shade mast.
5. Put the washers 9 and snap rings 8 in
place and screw the size 16 hexagon
socket screws 7 tight with a size 14
hex key (see figure D and E).
6. If you use 25 kg slabs: Place an addi-
tional 8 concrete slabs (25 kg) in the
slab stand. If you use 60 kg slabs:
Place an additional 4 concrete slabs
(60 kg) in the slab stand (see figure F).
Mounting the pole

If you would like to mount the Goliath
5 ˣ 5 on the ground anchor 85999BRGO,
you will find the following in the packag-
ing:

Please note: We recommend having
a specialist company pour a sufficient-
ly large and heavy base for the ground
anchor 85999BRGO (60 ˣ 60 cm; depth:
60 cm).
1. Dig a hole of sufficient size and depth
(see figure G).
2. Have a specialist company set the
ground anchor in concrete so that it
is exactly vertical and its lower edge
is flush with the ground (see figure H).
At the same time, include a drain-
age layer and a protective tube for the
electrical lines in the planning.
3. Pull the shade mast with the pole
foot horizontally onto the base
plate 10 of the ground anchor so that
the two smaller holes 2 are over the
corresponding holes on the ground
anchor's base plate 10 (see figure I).
4. Put the washers 6 and snap rings 5 in
place and screw the size 12 hexagon
socket screws 4 tight with a size 10
hex key (see figure I).
5. Erect the shade mast with the pole
foot (see figure J).

ing at least 2 other people help you
erect the shade mast.
6. Put the washers 9 and snap rings 8 in
place and screw the size 16 hexagon
socket screws 7 tight with a size 14
hex key (see figure K and L).
