Cleaning your mobile telephone

Always use a damp or antistatic cloth to clean your mobile telepho-
ne.
Never use a dry cloth.
If the telephone is very dirty, clean it with a diluted neutral cleaner
containing some form of surfactant, such as a dish detergent. Af-
terwards, remove all traces of the cleaner with a damp cloth (using
water only).
The alpha and numeric characters printed on the exterior of the
mobile telephone have been tested and found resistant to chip-
ping, fading or wearing off when the mobile telephone is treated
with common cleaners and disinfectants or perspiration. The follo-
wing chemicals have shown no harmful effect:
• 3 % Hydrochloric Acid
• M-alcohol (70 % Methylated Ethanol)
• 60 % Chlorhexidine 0.5 mg/ml
Acetone can be damaging to the plastic casing of the mobile tele-
phone and should not be used.

Safety notes

• It is recommended that standard acceptance procedures be fol-
lowed prior to operating this equipment in proximity of life-
support systems.
• To minimize risk of interference, pacemaker users should not
carry the mobile telephone next to the pacemaker.
• Earpiece may retain magnetic objects.
• Never allow the telephone to come into contact with staining or
corrosive liquids, such as coffee, tea, juice or soft drinks.Changes
or modifications not expressly approved by Unify Software and
Solutions GmbH & Co. KG could void the user's authority to ope-
rate the equipment.
