- Place the bowls on the base and make sure the lid is
on the top bowl.
RICE BOWL
- Place rice or other food with sauce or liquid in rice bowl
(Fig. N).
- Cover with lid.
- Plug the device into the mains.
- Set the timer to the appropriate time to cook the food.
- Note: Cooking times are estimated only and depend on
the quantity, size of the ingredients.
- The indicator light will go on.
- For most food items, the amount of water that fits in the
base will be sufficient to cook the food.
- If it is necessary to add more water to cook specific food
items that require a longer cooking time, open the water
adding compartment in order to fill it with water (respec-
ting the Min and Max level).
- When cooking process is completed, the timer will be
at the 0 position.
- Unplug the device from the mains.
- Be careful when removing the lid from the top basket.
- To avoid any burns and scalding, use oven gloves to
remove the lid and baskets.
- Be very careful: steam can be scalding hot.
- Remove the food from the top basket and place onto
a plate.
- To access to the underneath basket, remove the top
basket with oven gloves.
STEAMING GUIDE
- Following are general indications of cooking times for
some foods.
- The times indicated below are approximated cooking
time for food placed in the bottom basket.
- If food is cooked in the middle or top basket, the cooking
times will be slightly longer.
- We always recommend you to make sure food is suffi-
ciently cooked before serving it.

COOKING RICE
- Rice should be cooked in the rice bowl (E).
- Accurately measure rice and water then combined in
rice bowl
- Follow the normal procedure to start up the Steam
Gourmet Pro®: Pour water into the water tank and set
the timer.
- Rice takes between 25 and 35 min to cook.
- We always recommend you to place the rice bowl in
the top basket (B) to prevent other food from dripping
into the rice.
COOKING FROZEN FOODS
- It is not necessary to thaw food before cooking in the
Steam Gourmet Pro®.
- Some frozen food should be place in the rice bowl and
covered with a piece of aluminum foil during steaming.
- The frozen foods should be separated or stirred after
10-12 minutes. Use a long handle fork /spoon to sepa-
rate or stir foods.
- When cooking frozen foods, simply increase the coo-
king time.
CLEANING
- Unplug the appliance from the mains and let it cool
down completely before undertaking any cleaning tasks.
-Clean the Steam Gourmet Pro® regularly to avoid food
remains.
-Never submerge the base in water or any other liquid.
-Never submerge the plug in water or any other liquid.
-Clean the steaming baskets and the rice bowl with
soapy water and a soft sponge or cloth.
-Do not use abrasive chemical
