SMOKE EMISSION
If your Popcorn Machine starts emitting smoke during cooking, it may be due to the accumulation of
grease. To reduce smoke emission, be sure to clean the inside of the cauldron between uses.
POPCORNS
For best results, use a natural soft shell corn. Some brands of corn have a harder
outer shell and can result in less popped corn.
1.
Make sure the equipment is unplugged before cleaning it. Unplug the external plug from the outlet and
unplug the motor from the pot inside the main unit.
2.
Use a non-abrasive wet sponge, towel or cloth to rub all the inside and outside of the main unit; then
rub with a non-abrasive towel to dry it.
3.
After unplugging the pot motor and once the pot has cooled completely, turn the crank anticlockwise
to release and remove the pot.
4.
Remove the pot from the supports.
5.
Remove the Pot from the Main Unit. After removing the Pot from the Main Unit, fill 2/3 of the Pot with
hot soapy water.
6.
Let the pot rest for 15 to 20 minutes to cut the fat. (The time may vary - use your own criteria
depending on the amount of cleaning required)
7.
Empty the water. If necessary, use the sponge side of a cleaning sponge to scrape the inside of the pot.
8.
Rinse the interior carefully and dry.
9.
Wipe the outside of the Pot with a damp cloth and dry.
10.
Reattach the Pot to the Main Unit and then reattach the Crank, inserting it into the Pot. Turn the Crank
anticlockwise to secure it.
NOTE: To avoid the plug of the motor getting wet, never immerse
the Pot in any liquid. Never place any part in the dishwasher.
Always wash by hand.
