7. INSTALLATION

7.1 SAFETY MEASURES

To minimize the risk of injury during installation and maintenance, take the utmost care when working with the
electrical system.
The lifting devices must be sized according to the weight of the pump, see "product description"

7.2 PUMP INSTALLATION

The laying of the cables must be such that there are no bends or kinks.
Connect the cable. See "Electrical connection".
Connect the delivery pipe. The pipes and valves must be sized to the power of the pump.
The suction of the pump must always be free, prevent the pump from sinking into the soil underneath it,

check that the flooded excavation is large enough to allow proper drainage in relation to the size of the
pump, position the pump on a solid base, to prevent it from tipping over or sinking.
The pump can also be suspended by tying it to the handle, at a certain distance from the bottom.
