Installation
For HA devices:
1. Plug in the ZigBee Range Extender to power it on. The Status Indicator LED should begin blinking
or become lit.
2. If the device hasn't been connected to a network yet, the Status LED should blink every 1 second.
a. If the LED becomes solid, the device has already been connected to a network and is
working.
3. To connect to a new HA network, set the network co‐ordinator to be in "Permit Joining" mode.
4. Click the small Connection Button on the Range Extender to connect to the network.
5. The LED should blink faster and then become solid indicating a connection has been established.
a. If the LED goes back to 1 second blinks, this means the connection was not successful.
Ensure "Permit Joining" is enabled and try again.
b. If the LED displays a blink pattern of long on and short off, this means that there is no
network in range.
6. Clicking the button again once already connected will display a blink pattern of, short on and
long off. This puts the device in "Permit Joining" mode and will allow other devices to join the
network.
7. To leave the network, hold the Connection Button down for 5 seconds, a fast blink pattern will
then appear, and then click the button 5 times within 5 seconds to leave the network. This
mode is automatically exited 5 seconds after the start of the fast blinking.
