SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The UC must only be used with sockets with intact earthing that have been approved by
protection switch type A (30 mA) and a fuse designed for a current higher than the charge
current may be used.
DANGER
As the operator, you must always comply with national regulations in force in your country
regarding the operation, functional testing, repair and maintenance of electronic devices.
DANGER
Check the UC prior to each use. Do not use it if you detect any irregularities or damage to
the housing, cable, connector or socket.

Before use, ensure that the UC and all plugs, adapters and cables are free from moisture
and always protect all components from moisture, heavy dust, direct sunlight, high

Never use the UC and adapter with wet or damp hands, and do not operate the UC in the
immediate vicinity of heat sources.
DANGER
Terminate the charge immediately by locking and unlocking the vehicle using the remote
control if the charge cable or socket become hot. Regularly check the temperature of the
sockets and cables while charging.

Do not use this device with an extension cord, power strip or travel adapter.
DANGER
Before transport, ensure that the UC and all components are securely stowed in the case
supplied, and only carry this in the luggage compartment in the vehicle with the rear seat
backrest erected.
