WARNING: Do not use this appliance near
bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels
containing water.
WARNING: When the hairdryer is used in a
bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity to
water presents a hazard even when the hairdryer is
switched OFF.
For additional protection the installation of a
residual current device (RCD) having a rated
residual operating current not exceeding 30mA
is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the
bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
This appliance can be used by children aged from
8 years and above, and by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made
by children without supervision.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
WARNING: Do not leave the appliance unattended.
Do not allow bare skin or the eyes to come into
contact with any heated surface on the appliance
when in use. Do not place the appliance on any
heat-sensitive surfaces when hot or plugged into
the mains. Always unplug the appliance when not
in use.

WARNING: Do not block the air inlet or outlet
during use. When using the appliance, care must
be taken to prevent hair entering the air inlet
opening. The air outlet opening of this appliance
will become hot during use, avoid touching the
outlet or any accessories attached to the outlet.
Note: Use on towel-dried hair only.

serviceable parts or components.

Start Up
• For faster results, towel dry hair to remove excess water, then run a comb through damp
hair to detangle for best results.
• Plug the appliance into an electrical outlet.
• To turn unit on, place fingers around the temperature control dial and rotate
counterclockwise to the desired setting. Adjust the switch to the selected setting. Use
the LOW (I) setting on fine or thin hair and the HIGH (II) setting on thick and coarse hair.
Use the COOL (
) setting to lock in the style.
• Start styling. Separate hair into manageable sections.
For Voluminous Blowouts
• Use the Blowout Volumizer attachment, place the dryer close to the roots and brush
down toward the ends. The mix of nylon bristles with rounded tips detangle hair fast
while the Boartech 2™ and the Refresh3 Max™ activated charcoal gently softens and
gives it shine.
• For extra lift at the roots, hold the dryer for 2 to 3 seconds under the roots.
• To curl ends IN, place the dryer UNDER the ends and hold for 2 to 3 seconds before
rotating inward. To curl ends OUT, place the dryer OVER the ends and hold for 2 to 3
seconds before rotating outward.
• When drying is complete, wait for the dryer to cool before storing. Do not wrap the
cord around the dryer.
• Wait for the dryer to cool before removing the attachments and storing. Do not wrap
the cord around the dryer.
Cleaning Instructions
If cleaning becomes necessary, unplug the appliance from the power source and wipe the
exterior with a damp cloth. Dust and lint can be removed from air intake openings with a
small brush or vacuum cleaner brush attachment. DO NOT wash in water or allow moisture
or additional debris to enter the unit while cleaning.
