CUTTING LAMINATES
• Use a downward cutting blade. Cut thin laminates with the back surface facing up, as
splintering is most likely to occur on the side of the workpiece facing the saw shoe.
• For clean cuts, clamp a piece of plywood or hardboard to both sides of the laminate and cut
through the resulting sandwich.
