STEP 5
Installing the anti-tip hardware
• Locate a stud on the wall where the cabinet will be placed. Depending on your
wall construction, different anchor hardware may be necessary. In this case,
contact a local hardware store for assistance.
• Position the first bracket (G) in the vertical orientation on the wall over a stud.
The wall bracket should be just below the top edge of the console.
• Using two long screws (K) fasten the first bracket (G) through the drywall and
into the stud.
• Attach the cable (F) to the bracket (G) using cotter pin (H) and lock pin (I). To
secure the console push the lock pin (I) in the cotter pin hole until it clicks.
• Position the second bracket (G) horizontally on the back, top rail of the cabinet.
• Using two short screws (J) fasten the second bracket (G) to the console.
• Repeat the same cotter pin procedure as performed to secure the first bracket.
