• Always use the scale on a hard, flat surface. DO NOT use on carpet.
• DO NOT strike, shake or drop the scale.
• DO NOT step on the scale with wet feet, glass surface could be slippery.
• Keep the scale dry.
• Keep standing still during the course of weighing.
• Avoid breaking the scales by striking the glass with a sharp object or by dropping. Store your
scales horizontally; do not store them in its side. The batteries should only be replaced by
adults.Do not allow children to use the appliance unless the battery cover is attached.
• Failure to properly align the battery polarity correctly can cause damage to the product and
can cause a fire hazard.
The battery type used in this product is two 1.5V AAA size batteries. These batteries are
located internally and readily accessible.
Remove the battery cover to remove the batteries.
These batteries must be disposed of at your local recycling point.
Replacing the batteries
1.Remove the battery cover on the bottom of the scale.
2.Insert two batteries observing the polarity indicated in the battery compartment.
3.Attach the battery cover.
