Sat IF Distribution System
Extension Components
for Analogue and Digital Reception
Cascadeable loop-through matrices (EXR 554, EXR 558) and Sat IF distribution amplifier (VWS 551) for distribution of
analogue and digital programmes from one satellite as well as terrestrial signals to several receivers.
Suitable for all types of LNBs.
System extension of end-line switching matrices (e.g. EXR 508/T) with more subscribers.
With the EXR 558 and VWS 551, cascades of up to 96 subscribers are possible.
Allows simple inclusion in various installation structures, e.g. star-wired systems for an entire building or star-wired
systems for one floor or several cascaded distribution lines in conjunction with the Kathrein Sat IF splitter EBX 520,
order no. 273292.
Easy installation onto a clamping rail. The EXR 554, 558 and VWS 551 can be mounted on a clamping rail with
ZAH 05 mounting set.
EXR 554: Loop-through matrix for system extension with another four subscribers.
Supplied with a 5-way connection element allowing easy connection with the following matrix.
EXR 558: Loop-through matrix for system extension with another eight subscribers. Supplied with a 5-way connection
element allowing easy connection with the following matrix.
VWS 551: Sat distribution amplifier for system extension with three additional EXR 554 or EXR 558.
Supplied with a 5-way connection element
The products comply with the valid requirements of the guideline 73/23/EEC (low voltage guideline) and
89/336/EEC (EMC guideline)
