1- PRESENTATION
• Remote control unit K 70 D 035 Z is used for "2-pipe cooling
+ electric heating" TWX.
1.1 - FUNCTIONS
• For information about the functions of remote control unit K 70
D 035 Z, refer to manual 10 11 439 - 00 enclosed herewith.
• Only the following modifications are to be taken into account for
the remote control unit K 70 D 035 Z:
- Paragraph 3.9:
2 - CONTROL K 70 D 035 Z INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
2.1 - GENERAL
• The unit is designed for wall mounting.
• Secure the unit at a height of approximately 1.5 m from the floor
in a location representative of normal convection currents,
while avoiding:
- walls which are poorly insulated or liable to vibrate,
- the proximity of parasitic heat sources which may have an
adverse effect on control (sunshine, heating appliances,
lamps, fireplaces, televisions, etc.),
- currents of air from doors and windows,
- sheltered locations such as shelves or behind curtains,
- near electrical outlets.
3 - CONTROL K 70 D 035 Z ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
• Remote control unit K 70 D 035 Z is used for "2-pipe cooling
+ electric heating" TWX.
3.1 - GENERAL
• Connections are made on the terminal strip located on the side
of the unit.
• The electrical connection conduits must be secured.
• Use the orifices provided for cable lead-throughs.
• Make sure that the wires are correctly connected to the
terminal strip. An improper connection may result in operating
problems as well as overheating which may lead to fire.
• Class 1 appliance.
• The electrical installation must comply with current standards
(namely NF C 15-100

- Clock function: This function is not available on the K 70
D 035 Z.
- Paragraphs 4.1, 4.2, 4.7, 4.8, 4.9, 4.10, 4.13, 4.15, 4.17:
- The clock function is not available on control unit K 70 D
035 Z.
1.2 - CONFIGURATION
• For instructions on how to configuration this control unit (micro-
switch positions), refer to paragraphs 4.9, 4.10, 4.11, 4.12,
4.17, 4.18 and 5.2 of manual 10 11 439 - 00, enclosed herewith.
2.2 - INSTALLATION
• Remove the control's closure screw.
• Make sure that the speed selector is in the OFF position and the
temperature selector in comfort position. Next, remove the
upper part of the control unit.
• Make the holes in the wall at the desired installation height.
Drill the holes at the height of the mounting openings (5 x 8 mm)
in the base of the control unit K 70 D 035 Z.
• Make the electrical connections on the control unit's terminal
strip.
• Using the screws, secure the control unit's base to the wall
using holes drilled previously.
• Put the upper part back on the control unit while making sure
that the selectors are in the same position as during
disassembly and close it with the screw.

3.2 - WIRING DIAGRAM

• SW : Water temperature probe.
• Thermistor, type CTN 10 kΩ at 25°C.
• IP 67.
• Connection via shielded cable 0.5 mm
100 m.
• Do not route the shielded cable next to power cables.
• For the installation of the TWX fan coil unit probe, refer to
paragraph 5.6 of manual 10 11 439 - 00.
