BANDS
The H-3439 and H-3440 Circuit Breaker Lockouts
work with the majority of breakers found in industrial
facilities. However, in the instance of a breaker with an
odd-shaped toggle, it is recommended to use one of
the enclosed bands. Place one or more bands over the
breaker toggle, then apply the Circuit Breaker Lockout.

METAL CLIPS
For double or triple breakers with a metal tie bar, it
is recommended to use the metal clip included with
the H-3440 Circuit Breaker Lockout. Slide it over the
adjustable jaw of the H-3440, then apply the device to
the breaker. (See Figure 6)
