Open up the tripod and set it up securely
on an even surface and as horizontal as
possible. Balance out uneven surfaces
and angles by adjusting the telescopic
legs of the tripod and use the spot level
to level it (spot level is located on the top
of the tripod). Once the tripod has been
set up, secure the position by activating
the rotating lock and the tensioning lever.
Screw the self-levelling platform securely
to the tripod. The self-levelling platform is
brought to levelling position using the
three adjustment screws and the angle
setting levels (on the upper side of the
base). The self-levelling position is
achieved when both of the levels on the
swinging base have taken up position in
the middle. Release the lock next to the
laser to balance the laser cross line.
Note: The lock is a securing
mechanism for transportation and
must be released before use, and
applied again during transportation in
order to prevent damage to the laser.
The laser line should always self-level
within 15 seconds.
The self-adjusting laser can be used
with or without the tripod.
Projection of horizontal and/or
vertical lines
Pressing the vertical and/or horizontal
button on the upper side of the laser
generates a vertical, horizontal or cross
line laser beam. The red lights next to
the buttons indicate which of the two
buttons have been pressed. Press the lit
button a second time to switch the laser
off. The laser must be self-levelled
before you can use the laser displays.
Wait until the lines have stopped
moving, this indicates that the laser is
level. The laser can be rotated manually
by 360 degrees.

Note: The laser level can only partially
handle angles of +/– 6 degrees. If the
level is set at too extreme an angle, it
will not be able to level itself correctly.
