Jump starting:

Please follow these instructions:
1. Connect the red (+) alligator clamp to the red (+) positive battery terminal of the vehicle or boat.
2. Connect the black (-) alligator clamp to a non-moving metal part of the engine (NOT to the (-)
negative battery terminal).
3. Ensure the main switch is in "ON" position.
4. Wait for 2 minutes.
5. Switch the vehicle or boat engine ignition to "start" for no more than 5-6 seconds.
6. If the vehicle or boat engine does not start, wait at least 3 minutes before trying again.
Note: Under no circumstances allow the red and black clamps to touch each other.
Once the engine is running, disconnect the black (-) clamp first and return the cable to its storing
position on the casing of the power booster. Then do the same with the red (+) clamp.
Note: It is recommended to recharge the booster after use.

Compressor operation:

1. For tyre inflation use the universal adapter that is attached
permanently to the air hose. Place this adapter (see picture)
onto the tyre valve system and press the adapter lever down
to lock on.
2. Check the pressure gauge and determine the required
pressure.
3. Turn on the compressor power switch at the reverse of the
booster.
4. When the required pressure is reached, turn the compressor
switch off.
5. Remove the adapter from the source.
Note: for the inflation of leather balls, flotation devices, etc. use one of the plastic nozzles.

Battery disposal

The jump start system contains a lead acid battery that should be recycled once it has expired. Please
contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.

Safety cautions:

- Always work with eye protection when using the jump starter.
- The battery generates hydrogen gas during operation/recharging. This gas is explosive, poisonous
to breath and highly flammable.
- To avoid an explosion and/or being splashed with battery acid:
o Never allow the red and black clamps to make contact with each other.
o Only attempt to jump start a vehicle or boat in a well ventilated area.
o Do not connect the black clamp to the negative battery terminal, it must be connected to a
non-moving metal part of the engine.
- To avoid possible damage that may shorten the unit's working life, protect it from direct sunlight,
direct heat and/or moisture.
- This system is only designed for vehicles and/or boats which are working with a 12 V system.
- This system is not designed to replace a vehicles' battery.
- Do not run the compressor for more than 10 minutes continuously, to prevent overheating the device.

Safety precautions:

To reduce risk of electric shock, this product should ONLY be
opened by an authorized technician when service is required.
Disconnect the product from mains and other equipment if a
problem should occur. Do not expose the product to water or
moisture.
