The thermometer is a non-contact infrared thermometer which displays the current
and maximum readings simultaneously. It can be used to measure the surface tem-
perature of hot, dangerous or hard-to-reach objects. It provides safety, fast operation
and high precision.
Utilisation :
1/ Point the thermometer at the target to be measured, then hold in the trigger
(> 1 second). the display shows the target surface temperature. To stop the
measurement, simply release the trigger; the last measurement will be displayed
on screen (HOLD will appear as an indication).
2/ During the measurement, a maximum temperature will be displayed next to the
MAX icon.
3/ Press the C°/F° key to select a display in degrees celcius or farenheit.
4/ When the trigger is held in, the backlight of the LCD monitor lights up.
5/ The distance is 8m maxi. Please make sure the target area is within the field of
view.
6/ The thermometer will automatically shut off if it is left idle for more than 15 sec.
Note :
The measuring zone is equal to the distance from the measured object divided by 8,
if measuring is performed 40 cm from the object, the temperature displayed is that of
a circular zone 5 cm in diameter with the laser at its centre.
Attention :
- While readings may be affected if the thermometer is used in an intense electro-
magnetic field, the thermometer's performance will not be permanently affected.
- When the thermometer is in use, do not look directly into the laser beam, as this
could cause irreversible eye damage.
- Exercise caution when using the laser.
- Never point the thermometer at anyone's eyes.
- Keep the thermometer out of the reach of children.
