Ensure full seal:
To achieve the optimal level of sound atten-
uation, the cups should sit tightly against the
head and not be placed over mask straps or
eyewear frames. The earmuffs should fully
cover the ear.
Cleaning:
Please do not use chemicals to clean this
product. The earmuffs can be cleaned used
a damp cloth and warm soapy water. Allow to
dry before subsequent use. Do not use any
abrasive brushes or other products which
may damage the product's sound attenuation
and seal. Please only use cleaning products
which are not harmful to humans. Certain
chemicals may negatively affect the product.
Further information on this subject can be
obtained from the manufacturer.
Maintenance:
The earmuffs and above all the earpiece
pads will function less effectively after pro-
longed recurrent use. They need to regularly
be checked for breakage, tears and loss of
sound attenuation. Replace the earpiece
pads as and when required, but at least
every six months. Remove the old cushions
and carefully place the new pads in the ear-
muffs so they are in the correct position and
push in firmly (fig. 3a-c). Do not bend or un-
necessarily adjust the helmet attachment, as
this element must exert the optimal pressure
force to maintain the insulating properties..
