Damaged safety fittings and components should be repaired or replaced where appropriate
at a customer service centre, unless indicated otherwise in the operating instructions.
Damaged switches must be replaced in an authorised customer service centre.
Do not use tools on which switches cannot be operated.
• Warning! For your own safety, use only equipment and accessories indicated in the
operating instructions or recommended by the manufacturer. The use of components other
that those indicated in the operating instructions or in the catalogue of recommended tools
and accessories can result in a risk of injury.
• Have your equipment repaired by recognised specialists. This pneumatic tool meets the
relevant safety regulations. Repairs should only be carried out by qualified personnel, as
improper repair can place the user at risk of injury.
Special safety instructions and warnings for pneumatic tools:
• Use pneumatic tools solely for their intended purpose.
• Do not operate any pneumatic tool without ear protectors and protective glasses.
• None of the pneumatic tools are isolated, so you should avoid the risk of electrical shock.
• Avoid using the pneumatic tools in combustible environments.
• Working with rotating and punching pneumatic tools which create dust can be harmful to
your health.
• Working with punching pneumatic tools, the chisel can cause fragments to fly off, or damage
the work piece.
• Machine tools exposed to heavy loads with rotating and punching pneumatic tools over
extended periods can break due to fatigue.
• Unexpected movements of the pneumatic tool and attachments can lead to harm to the
lower extremities.
• An inappropriate working position can render you unable to react to normal or unexpected
movements.
• Adopt a working position which you can hold, even with a potential breakdown of the
machine tool.
• Holding the pneumatic tool loosely can lead to damage due to vibration.
• Disconnect the tool from the air supply if you need to exchange a component of the machine
tool.
• Avoid striking the compressed air hose!
• Chisels can expel small particles, and appropriate protection and preventative measures
should be taken to avoid this.
• Only use lubricants recommended by the manufacturer.
• Avoid striking or touching the used operating tools when using relevant pneumatic tools.
• Avoid loose clothing and hair. These can be caught in rotating or moving parts and can lead
to injury.
• The torque generated between the work piece and the support equipment can crush limbs.
• Ensure that machine tool is in good, sound condition and that it is suitable for the intended
task before each use.
• Do not reduced pressure after releasing the clutch.
• Use only certified grinding tools and sockets.
• Do not use separate grinding wheels or milling tools.
• Ensure that the permissible operating speed of the machine tool used is higher than the
indicated revolution speed of the grinding machine.
