ATTENTION:
Never open the housing.
Never remove the circuit board from its housing.
Never crimp or cut cables while they are connected
to powered equipment.
The module is not provided with additional protection
against short circuit, therefore it is recommended to
use a power supply with the correct specifications.
Mordomus shall not be liable for any damages
resulting from the use of our equipment outside the
specifications and/or for a purpose other than that
intended.
When using a low cross section cable there might be
voltage drops that could force the module into under-
voltage protection mode.
Only use power supplies with an output voltage of
iSND8
15V and at least 4A.
Do not connect loudspeakers with an impedance less
than 4 Ohms.

MDiBus connections: To connect the MDiBus, use CAT 6 UTP
cable with RJ45 connectors according to EIA568A or EIA568B
standards.
15VDC Power supply connection:
It is recommended to use the
iPSE154 power supply
provided with the iSND8 module. This
power supply should be connected directly to the DC IN connector
of the iSND8 module.
Input source connection: The line input IN A+B
iSND8 must be connected to the iThink module's audio output by
means of a stereo cable with a 3,5mm stereo audio jack on each

Every audio output of the iSND8 can select its audio source
from any of the audio inputs A, B
independently. In addition there is also one dedicated input for
each output that can also be selected
When more than one iSND8 are to be installed the iSND8
modules can be cascaded by using the line out Out A+B
of the first module as the source for the second module. This is
also applicable to channel C

Enrollment:
To enroll the iSND8 module proceed as follows:
1.
Make sure that the iSND8 is powered by a suitable
power supply
and connected to the MdiBus
and
.
2.
In the Mordomus console access the menu
:
Configurations and acess the sub-menu
Modules/Addresses.
3.
On the iSND8, press and hold the addressing button
for at least 1sec. The green LED
slowly until the addressing is complete.
4.
The iSND8 should be added automatically to the list
and the green LED should stop blinking.
LED codes
:
Green LED ON: Module powered and enrolled to software;
Red LED ON: Module powered and not enrolled;
Green LED blinking shortly: Module receiving data;
Green LED blinking continuously: Module awaiting address;
Red LED blinking: Module sending/receiving data.

15VDC Power supply interruption: After a power interruption of
the 15VDC supply, the iSND8 module will set all sound outputs to
Mute and the input selector will be set to input A.
Reset: To perform a reset to the module, interrupt the 15VDC
power supply for 5 seconds.
