Step 1 Unpack carton, identify & confirm quantity of components.
Assemble shelving unit with at least two shelves. Distance needed between the top of the bottom shelf and

bottom of the top shelf of the security module is 18.5". The top shelf must be removed for assembly with
the enclosure door.
Stand the top shelf up on its end and hook the left sliding bracket on the back of the shelf. See diagram #1.

Step 4 Make sure the sliding bracket is against the inside front edge of the shelf. By using the bracket clamp, bolt
and stop nut attach the sliding bracket to the shelf. See diagram #2. DO NOT TIGHTEN THE STOP
NUT AT THIS TIME.
Step 5 Repeat steps 3 & 4 for the right side of the shelf.
To install the enclosure door, lay the shelf flat on its top and hook the door into the sliding brackets. Then,

with the door handles pointing downward, slide the enclosure door into the shelf. See diagrams #3 & #4.
Step 7 Place a pair of plastic sleeves 18.5" above the top of the module's bottom shelf.
Place the top shelf (with the enclosure door) onto the posts, where the plastic sleeves have been placed.

Step 9 Slide the enclosure door in and out to make sure it's working properly. If it binds, lightly tap the sides with a
hammer to allow for sliding
Step 10 Without moving the sliding brackets, try tightening the stop nuts. If this is not possible, remove the shelf
(with the enclosure door) and lay it down on its top. Then pull out the enclosure door and tighten the
stop nuts this way.
Step 11 Remove the shelf (with the enclosure door) from the unit & stand it on its long edge. Install the back
panel by fitting the wires into the grooves of the shelf. See diagram #5.
Install the sides by fitting the wires into the grooves of the shelf. See diagram #5.

Step 13 Place the top shelf (with the enclosure door & back panel) onto posts, where the plastic sleeves have been
placed. See diagram #6. Using a rubber mallet gently hit the shelf down into place.
Step 14 To install the fasteners, lift the enclosure door and while holding it away from the unit, hook them onto the
shelf behind the loop on the door. Then using the tapped clamps and screws attach the fasteners securely
to the shelf. Then mount the hex nuts to the screws.
