OEHLBACH Multitester
®

Thank you for choosing a OEHLBACH® quality product.
General
The OEHLBACH® Multitester (item 8430) is suitable for
a quick and easy inspection of connections.
You can inspect the following types of connections for
continuity and short-circuit.
VGA connector
DVI
S-Video
RCA connector
RJ 11
RJ 45
Coaxial cable (BNC/ F - connector/Belling-Lee connector)
Initial operation
Open the battery compartment cover of the Multitester receiver with a Phillips-tip scre-
wdrivers, remove the enclosed batteries and close
the compartment cover again.
Now open the battery compartment of the Multitester transmitter and insert the batteries
( AA 1.5 V).
Once the battery compartment cover is closed the OEHLBACH® Multitester is ready for
use.

TEST
Connect the cable to be tested to the receiver and the transmitter.
The light of the respective LED signals the reliability of the cable.
If there is an interruption or a short circuit, the LED will not light up.
Environmental note
Batteries - even heavy-metal-free ones - must not be disposed of in the normal household
waste. Used batteries must be put into the used battery containers in shops or with public
waste disposal authorities.
