PREPARATION FOR OPERATION

INSTALLATION OF POLISHING PAD
Disconnect the polisher from power supply network.
Stretch the polishing pad slightly and put it over the backing pad
(1) (ensure the polishing pad is clean).
Polishing pad must closely adhere to the polisher backing pad.
OPERATION / SETTINGS
SWITCHING ON / SWITCHING OFF
The mains voltage must match the voltage on the rating plate of
the polisher.
Switching on – slide the switch (1) forward to ON position (fig. A).
Switching off – slide the switch (1) backward to OFF position.
WORKING WITH POLISHER
Whole backing pad (3) must rest on the surface of polished object.
Switch the polisher on, apply moderate pressure and move it on the
polished surface.
Reduce pressure on the polisher when finishing working with it.
GUIDELINES FOR CAR BODY MAINTENANCE
To ensure the best protection of a car body surface, polish it two to
three times a year.
Clean a car at least every fortnight. Avoid using household
detergents that may damage lacquer or wash off wax.
Wash the car body with a clean sponge, moving it from top to bottom.
Remove dirt like insects, birds excrements and stains on a daily basis.
When washing windows with a cleaning agent, first apply it onto
cloth to avoid wetting the car body surface.
Distribute buffing compound on the polishing pad surface (do not
allow direct contact of polishing agent with polished surface).
Switch the polisher on and off only when the backing pad ( 3) rests
on polished surface.
Hold the polisher with both hands.
Firstly polish large, flat car body surfaces, like boot, hood and roof.
Next you can start polishing smaller surfaces, like door and quarter
panels.
For smaller and hardly accessible surfaces, like mirrors, bumpers
etc., remove the polishing pad from backing pad, put it on a sponge
(or hand) and start polishing manually.
When using wax or other maintenance agents follow guidelines
of their respective manufacturers.

OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE

Disconnect the tool from power supply network before starting
any adjustment, maintenance or repair.
Always keep the polisher clean.
Remember to always keep the ventilation holes of the polisher
body pervious.

Clean outer housing with damp cloth or brush. Do not use any
solvents.
When storing, remove the polishing pad from the polisher backing
pad and put it facing down, so the backing pad sponge may remain
dry and keep original shape.
Excessive wax or buffing paste application may cause the polishing
pad slipping off the backing pad of the polisher.
Clean the polishing pad and backing pad with water and delicate
soap only.
In case of excessive commutator sparking check technical condition
of carbon brushes of the motor.
REPLACEMENT OF BACKING PAD
Damaged or worn out backing pad (3) must be replaced
immediately.
Entrust replacement of the backing pad only to a qualified person.
Only original parts should be used.
REPLACEMENT OF CARBON BRUSHES
Replace immediately worn out (shorter than 5mm), burnt or
cracked motor carbon brushes. Always replace both brushes at
a time.
Entrust replacement of carbon brushes only to a qualified person.
Only original parts should be used.
All faults should be repaired by service workshop authorized by the
manufacturer.
