GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

 Please read this Instruction Manual carefully before use.
 Keep these instructions; the guarantee certificate; the sales receipt; and if possible the gift
box with the inner packaging.
 Switch off the Toaster and remove the mains plug from the mains supply whenever the
Toaster is not in use.
 Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged.
 Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
 Do not allow the power cord to come into contact with the appliance's hot surfaces.
 Ensure that the voltage indicated on the rating label matches the mains voltage before
plugging in the appliance.
 Never use a fork or other sharp objects to clean the Toaster. Doing so can damage the Toaster.
 Under no circumstances must the Toaster be placed in water or other liquids.
 Test the Toaster and the cable regularly for damage. If there is damage of any kind, the Toaster
should not be used.
 This appliance can be used by people unused to its handling, disabled people or children aged
from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
 Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and
supervised.
 In case of any repairs, replacement of cord or plug, or adjustment, please consult a qualified
technician, or take the Toaster to an authorised service facility.
 To avoid accidents, never touch the surface of the Toaster when it is operating.
 Before plugging or unplugging the mains plug of the Toaster from the mains supply, make sure
the Bread Carriage Lever is set at the RELEASE (OFF) POSITION.
 Keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference.
 The bread may burn, therefore do not use the toaster near or blow combustible material, such
as curtains
 During operation, the appliance must be placed in a well ventilated area.
