GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read this Instruction Manual carefully before use.
Keep these instructions; the guarantee certificate; the sales receipt; and if possible the gift
box with the inner packaging.
Switch off the Toaster and remove the mains plug from the mains supply whenever the
Toaster is not in use.
Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged.
Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
Do not allow the power cord to come into contact with the appliance's hot surfaces.
Ensure that the voltage indicated on the rating label matches the mains voltage before
plugging in the appliance.
Never use a fork or other sharp objects to clean the Toaster. Doing so can damage the Toaster.
Under no circumstances must the Toaster be placed in water or other liquids.
Test the Toaster and the cable regularly for damage. If there is damage of any kind, the Toaster
should not be used.
This appliance can be used by people unused to its handling, disabled people or children aged
from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and
supervised.
In case of any repairs, replacement of cord or plug, or adjustment, please consult a qualified
technician, or take the Toaster to an authorised service facility.
To avoid accidents, never touch the surface of the Toaster when it is operating.
Before plugging or unplugging the mains plug of the Toaster from the mains supply, make sure
the Bread Carriage Lever is set at the RELEASE (OFF) POSITION.
Keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference.
The bread may burn, therefore do not use the toaster near or blow combustible material, such
as curtains
During operation, the appliance must be placed in a well ventilated area.
