NOTE: These instructions replace the Setting Blade Height instructions
located on page 8 in your operator's manual.
SETTING BLADE HEIGHT
See Figure 8.
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of injury, user
must read and understand the
operator's manual for their lawn
mower and this instruction sheet.
When shipped, the wheels on the
mower are set to a low- cutting posi-
tion. Before using the mower for the
first time, raise the cutting position to
the height best suited for your lawn.
The average lawn should be between
1-1/2 in. to 2 in. during cool months

and between 2 in. and 3-1/4 in. during
hot months.
To adjust the blade height:
Remove start key.
To raise the blade height, grasp the
height adjustment lever and move
it toward the back of the mower.
For a higher blade setting, pull the
height adjustment lever out and
over the rear of the bracket on the
mower.
To lower the blade height, grasp the
height adjustment lever and move
it toward the front of the mower.
Reinstall start key when you are
ready to mow.
