Install the Hardware

Before you start to install the NMP-1000, you may need the following:
• A hard disk drive (to be installed in the NMP-1000)
• A TV
• An audio amplifi er (optional)
Install the Hard Drive
Please follow the steps below to install a hard drive (optional purchase) on the NMP-1000.
Step 1. Open the lid.
Step 3. Install a hard drive on the disk tray and
lock it with four screws.
Step 5. Fasten the screw to lock the disk tray.
Step 7. Connect the media player to the power
supply.

• A wired network with broadband Internet connection (optional)
• Computer (Windows XP, Vista, Mac OS X, Linux)
Step 2. Lift up the disk tray and pull it out gently.
Step 4. Insert the disk tray to the media player.
Step 6. Cover the lid. A click sound will be heard
when the cover is closed correctly.
