If the Leg sling is used in connection
with personal hygiene for bariatric
patients, it can also be used as
assistance to separate the thighs.
The Leg sling can also be utilized
when fitting a divided leg sling if the
user has heavy or very heavy thighs
or very compromised skin integrity.
The lower leg is lifted with the Leg
sling and the thigh strap of the divi-
ded leg sling is placed beneath the
thigh.
