Gebruik van het RAID-hulpprogramma
Nadat de schijfstructuur opnieuw is opgebouwd, kan de schijf worden
geformatteerd met FAT32 of NTFS (afb. 8). Selecteer de gewenste indeling.
FAT32 is compatibel met de meeste Windows-pc's, Macs en Linux. NTFS biedt
de beste prestaties met Windows 2000 en XP maar is niet compatibel met
andere besturingssystemen. NTFS is aan te bevelen voor gebruik met back-
up-, videomontage- en andere programma's waarbij bestandsgroottes van
meer dan 4GB mogelijk moeten zijn.
Andere hulpprogramma's
De DriveStation Quattro beschikt over verschillende optionele
schijfhulpprogramma's. Om deze programma's te installeren en gebruiken
plaatst u de bij de DriveStation Quattro meegeleverde cd-rom in een
Windows-pc.
Klik op Begin Installation (Met de installatie beginnen, afb. 9) en Additional
Software Installation (Aanvullende software installeren, afb. 10).
