LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY
Quality is the hallmark of all GF Health Products, Inc. "Graham-Field" products. Trusted by
healthcare professionals and end users for over 50 years, the Lumex brand features a full
line of patient aids, homecare beds and specialty healthcare seating. This Limited Lifetime
Warranty is an expression of our confidence in the materials and workmanship of our quality
products.
GF Health Products, Inc. hereby warrants specific parts of the Lumex models listed on the first
page of these instructions for the lifetime of the product which is defined as three (3) years
against defective workmanship and/or material defects when used for the purpose intended,
under normal conditions, and provided the product receives proper care and maintenance.
Parts covered under the lifetime warranty include: frame and frame locking components.
Specific items "excluded" from this warranty of any kind are: "ALL" other parts not specifically
listed above. The warranty does not extend to non-durable components, such as seat, wheels/
casters, backrest cloth, etc., which require periodic replacement. The warranty for these
normal wear components is six (6) months. If within such warranty period any such product
shall be proven to be defective, such product shall be repaired or replaced, at Graham-Field's
option. The warranty does not include any labor charges incurred in replacement part(s)
installation or any associated freight or shipping charges to the manufacturer. Graham-Field's
sole obligation and your exclusive remedy under this warranty shall be limited to such repair
and/or replacement.
For warranty service, please contact the dealer from whom you purchased your Graham-Field
product. In the event you do not receive satisfactory warranty service, please write directly to
Graham-Field at the address listed. Provide the dealer's name, address, your product model #,
date of purchase, indicate the nature of the claimed defect and list the serial and/or lot # on
the product. Graham-Field may decide that the product be returned for warranty inspection
however DO NOT return products to our distribution center without prior consent and return
authorization.
The warranty shall not apply to problems arising from normal wear or failure to adhere
to the enclosed instructions for usage and care/maintenance. In addition, the foregoing
warranty shall not apply to serialized products if the serial number has been removed or
defaced; products subjected to negligence, accident, improper operation, maintenance or
storage; or products modified and/or used with unauthorized parts or attachments without
Graham-Field's consent.
The warranties contained herein contain all the representations and warranties with respect
to the subject matter of this document, and supersede all prior negotiations, agreements and
understandings with respect thereto. The recipient of this document hereby acknowledges
and represents that it has not relied on any representation, assertion, guarantee, warranty,
collateral contract or other assurance, except those set out in this document.
