ENSURE THE ORAL TUBE DUST CAP IS NOT FITTED IN THE DEFLATE POSITION AND ALL AIR IS EXPELLED FROM THE STOLE.

FOLD PANELS 2 INWARD AND SECURE VELCRO TABS.

FOLD PANELS D&E ACROSS PANELS, 1&2, MITRE CORNERS IF NECESSARY, AND SECURE VELCRO STRIPS , ENSURE THE
OPERATING HANDLE IS VISIBLE AT ALL TIMES AT THE BOTTOM EDGE OF THE JACKET.

OCCASIONALLY UNDO THE VELCRO ALL ROUND TO CHECK THE GREEN (OR BLACK FOR PROSENSOR) INDICATOR BUTTON IS
VISIBLE ON THE AUTO CARTRIDGE (.REPLACE CARTRIDGE AND CHECK CYLINDER IF INDICATOR BUTTON IS NOT VISIBLE.

CHECK THE FIRING INDICATOR CLIP IS PRESENT ON MANUAL AND STANDARD AUTO, NO CLIP IS FITTED TO ANY PROSENSOR
MODEL. REPLACE CLIP IF NECESSARY & CHECK CYLINDER FOR DISCHARGE OR DAMAGE TO THE END CAP, REPLACE IF
REQUIRED.

DON THE LIFEJACKET WHILST WEARING DECK CLOTHING, OPEN FRONT CLOSURE AND IF FITTED FRONT CROTCH
STRAP(OPTIONAL EXTRA). FASTEN FRONT CLOSURE AND PULL TOP WEBBING AT RIGHT HAND SIDE WHILST SLIGHTLY LIFTING
THE ADJUSTMENT BUCKLE. ADJUST SECURELY.
ii.
IF FITTED; FASTEN CROTCH STRAP AND PULL WEBBING TO TIGHTEN. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN CROTCH STRAP. ADJUST TO
TOUCH FIT ONLY.
YOU MAY REMOVE THE JACKET AND SECURE ALL WEBBING ENDS IN THE KEEPER LOOPS. EXCESS WEBBING IS PROVIDED
FOR A SECURE FIT OVER THE BULKIEST OF FOUL WEATHER CLOTHING.

THE LIFEJACKET WAISTBELT SHOULD FIT AS TIGHT AS POSSIBLE WITHOUT IMPEDING BREATHING OR MOVEMENT. THE
CROTCH STRAP IF FITTED SHOULD NOT BE OVERTIGHT. AN INSECURE JACKET MAY AFFECT YOUR FLOTATION ANGLE IN THE
WATER.

IT IS RECOMMENDED, TO ENSURE GOOD IN-WATER PERFORMANCE, THAT A CROTCH STRAP IS WORN AS OFTEN AS POSSI-
BLE AND ALL BUCKLES AND WEBBINGS ARE FULLY SECURED AT ALL TIMES.
IMPORTANT - TO ADJUST ALL BUCKLES, ANGLE UPWARDS WHILE PULLING WEBBING.
G. EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

PULL OPEN THE VELCRO AND/OR STUDS TO EXPOSE THE ORAL TUBE AND INFLATE FULLY.

CONSULT YOUR DISTRIBUTOR FOR AUTHORISED REPAIRS, WE CANNOT GUARANTEE YOUR WORKMANSHIP OR CONDITIONS
UNDER WHICH A REPAIR WAS MADE.
IMPORTANT - IF YOU PERFORM ANY SELF-REPAIRS, THESE ARE NOT GUARANTEED BY THE MANUFACTURER.
iii.
WHEN JUMPING INTO THE WATER TRY TO INFLATE THE JACKET ONLY AFTER WATER ENTRY. SHOULD THIS PROVE IMPOSSI-
BLE AND THE JACKET IS INFLATED BEFORE WATER ENTRY, SECURELY CROSS ARMS OVER CHEST AND LIFEJACKET BEFORE
JUMPING.
AN AUTOMATICALLY OPERATING LIFEJACKET WILL AID AN UNCONSCIOUS PERSON AND RELIEVE A CONSCIOUS PERSON
OF THE ACTIVATION PROCESS.
IMPORTANT - ALWAYS LOOK BEFORE JUMPING AND MAKE SURE YOUR POINT OF ENTRY IS CLEAR OF PERSONNEL,
LINES ETC.

DO NOT REMOVE OR DEFLATE YOUR LIFEJACKET UNTIL SAFELY ABOARD RESCUE CRAFT AND ONLY THEN UNDER INSTRUC-
TION TO DO SO.
IMPORTANT - THIS LIFEJACKET WILL NOT DAMAGE AN INFLATED RAFT WHEN BOARDING.

THESE LIFEJACKETS OPERATE BY A CHEMICAL PROCESS AND AS SUCH ARE SUSCEPTIBLE TO SELF-INFLATION IF STORED
