ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

An approved means of electrical isolation that can be locked in a safe position must be fitted in the supply to this unit.
The installation must comply with current local and national standards. The unit must be earthed.
Different individual electrical units must be cross bonded (all metallic structures on the same circuit) using a connection point provided next
to the cable entry gland.
The instructions must provide recommendations regarding the characteristics and type of additional protective devices to be
installed, such as residual current device(s) (RCDs)
The electrical connection is at the front irrespective of the model. Fig. 5A-B-C
- Undo the two fixing screws holding the lower panelling
- Remove the panel.
- Pass the cable through the cable gland
- Connect the wires (respect Neutral and Earth).
- Tighten the cable gland.
- Refit the panel.
- Connect the cross bonding to the terminal provided. Fig. 5D
• Only use supply cable of H07 RN-F type with a cross section suitable for the load (see 'technical charecteristics' for this information).
Allow for an approved isolation devise with a distance of at least 3mm between contacts.
ENERGY SAVER CONNECTION
The installation must comply with current local and national standards (France : NFC 15-100). use supply cable of H07 RN-F type with a cross
section of 1.5mm² and the number of conductors required by the economiser. Feed the cable through the terminals cable gland:
Remove the bridges between B1-C1 and connect the economizer to the corresponding inputs and outputs.
A :
Output information = Stop/Start
B1 :
Output information concerning the level of heating
C1 :
Input information : power or not for the economiser for the level of heating
D :
Neutral
PE :
Earth terminal

WATER CONNECTION

- In order to protect the mains water supply and comply with current regulations individual backflow prevention devices must be fitted in
accordance with EN13959 and compliant with local regulations (WRAS, SVGW, DVGW).
The connection pipework and the backflow preventer are not supplied as the distance between the unit and its supply are variable.
The pipework must comply with the local regulations for connection to a drinking water supply.
Location, connections and initial commissioning must only be undertaken by specialist concessionaires or approved personnel.
- Nature: filtered to 50 microns (allow for a filter)
- Allow for a local stop cock. Fig. 3A and A'

DRAIN CONNECTION

Drain water can be condensate at high temperature (98°C). Accordingly use materials that are suited to these temperatures.
The unit can be connected directly to drain (sealed) but must be in accordance with standards to avoid cross contamination.
A trap must be fitted between the unit and the drain to prevent back flow of odours. Fig. 4A et A"
