Dear customer,
You have made an excellent choice by purchasing this cookware. Please read and observe the following instructions to ensure you will enjoy your new purchase for a
long time.
Before first use
Please inspect the bottom of the cookware and the hob for any remaining dirt, stickers and unevenness. Moving the cookware around may cause damage. First clean your
new cookware with hot water and normal washing-up liquid. Then dry it well.
Care instructions
Fundamentally, this high quality material can be cleaned easily with a sponge or washing-up brush and any commercial detergent soon after the use. With stronger, more
resistant soiling, we recommend soaking them for a while. Do not use any sharp or pointy objects for cleaning, even in case of heavy soiling. Remove limescale residue
by using vinegar.
Basic information
Screwed fittings can become loose over time. These can, however, easily be tightened using a standard screwdriver. Preheat the cookware at no higher than a medium heat.
Empty cookware may reach temperatures of up to 500°C very quickly, particularly on induction hobs. Use the residue heat to obtain optimum efficiency while cooking. Adjust
the heat setting to lower power after the pot was heated up, or keep to use the low power for cooking after the pot was heated up.
Information for induction stoves
A humming noise may be heard when using induction cookware. This noise is due to technical reasons and is not an indication of a defect in your stove or cookware. The
pot's bottom diameter must match the size of the cooking zone, otherwise the cooking zone (magnetic field) may not respond to the pot's bottom, especially if the bottom
diameter is smaller. Make sure that the pot is always placed in the centre of the induction cooking zone.
WARNING
Please ensure that the cookware is not overheated when empty (when it does not contain food). Furthermore, liquid should not be allowed to completely evaporate. If,
despite this, the cookware becomes overheated, please ventilate the room thoroughly. Knobs and handles not made of plastic can become hot. Always use oven gloves or
similar, and never leave hot cookware unaccompanied. Please note that glass lids are only heat-resistant to max 180°C and plastic fittings are only heat-resistant to max
150°C. These must not be used with the oven's grill function. In rare cases, odours can develop. If this occurs, switch the heat off, open the oven door where necessary
and thoroughly ventilate the room.
Please note that the product is oven-proof up to 240 °C (without glass lid and silicone tube).
Check that the filling tube is properly and securely connected to the outlet. Make sure the locking clip is fitted correctly.
Use with hot oil/fat
The product is not suitable for deep-frying. Please ensure that the oil/fat is not overheated. This presents a fire hazard. Do not add water to hot fat/oil, and do not extinguish
burning fat with water. Use a fire blanket or appropriate fire extinguisher instead. Please note that cookware containing hot fat/oil must not be moved or transported.
Energy-saving tip for cooking
Use energy efficiently by selecting the cooking zone that best matches the size of the pot/pan without being too large. Please always use the cooking zone that matches
the size of the cookware. If possible, please use a lid while cooking and place the cookware in the centre of the cooking zone.

Extracting juice from fruit
Wash fruit briefly and thoroughly and cut into pieces. Fill jug with water. Add sugar to juice container (see table). Place fruit in filter insert. Bring the water to the boil.
The juice extraction time is calculated from when the water comes to the boil. About 5 minutes before the end of the extraction process, draw off ½ litre of juice and pour
over the fruit so that the concentration of the juice is the same throughout. Pour the hot juice into warm bottles. Seal with rubber or screw caps, allow to cool, label. The
riper the fruit, the more aromatic and richer the juice. It is advisable to mix bland fruits with more acid ones (strawberries with currants or rhubarb, apples and pears with
elderberries). The sugar required according to the recipe is added to the fruit in the juice container before the juice is extracted. Stir before drawing off, as this will achieve an
even sweetening of the juice. Extract fruit juices, which are to be made into jelly, without adding sugar. Only unripe fruits are suitable for this, as they contain more pectin
(gelling agent). Fruits rich in pectin include currants, unripe apples and quinces. The quantities of sugar given in the following table are applicable for juices that are ready
to drink. Fruit juices, which are to be diluted in use, must have more sugar added. Juices that have been pressed raw or extracted cold are poured into bottles, heated
to 72-75°C (not higher) in the water bath of the boiling pan for 25 minutes and then immediately sealed with rubber caps as directed.
The following rule gives an indication:
100-150 g sugar for one kg of sweet fruit
200-250 g sugar for one kg of acidic fruit
