Notes
Warning: Isolate the mains supply before commencing installation or
undertaking any other work on the transformers.
Installations should be in accordance with the requirements of the
current edition of the IEE wiring regulations together with any other
relevant regulations (e.g. building, fire, etc.) applicable to the
site/installation.

The transformers should be sited in a ventilated area free of insulation
materials (mineral wool or similar) where the ambient temperature
during operation will not exceed the maximum temperature rating for
the transformer.
Switches and dimmers should be connected into the input / primary
circuit.
All of these transformers have an auto-resetting thermal cutout device
protecting the transformer in case of overload. The type C also has a
primary fuse.
The type C - Under output short circuit conditions very high currents will
flow therefore current limiting device\s must be used in the output
circuit and use output cable capable of withstanding the high
current/temperature.
Type B - Auto-reset current and temperature sensitive circuit
incorperated into each output circuit.
Dimming
Dimmers used with these 'wound' transformers must be of types
suitable for inductive loads.

All fuses must be of; anti surge, slowblow or delayed type.
Acoustic: ________________________All models - Very low audible
Circuit breakers
To avoid nuisance tripping of breakers during the switch on of the lights
use breakers of types suitable for inductive loads, e.g. Type 3 (C) or
Type 4 (D)
Output voltage drop
The following cable lengths give approx. 0.25V drop with multi-core
cable, copper conductors (Ref. IEE Wiring Reg. 16th Ed. 1991 - Table
