2) Heat Settings
• Turn the heater ON by turning the Rotary Control ring counter-clockwise.
• Once the heater is ON, turn the Rotary Control ring to the desired Heat Setting.
There are 3 settings to choose from: Fan Only, Low heat, High heat.
FAN ONLy FUNCTION
-The Fan Only function will allow the fan in the heater to operate without heat.
This will circulate cool air throughout the room.
-To select, turn the Rotary Control ring to the Fan Only position.
LOW HEAT FUNCTION
-The Low Heat function will gradually bring the heater to the desired
temperature. Low Heat function operates at an energy-saving 400 watts
-To select, turn the Rotary Control ring to the LOW heat position.
HIGH HEAT FUNCTION
-The High Heat function will rapidly bring the heater to the desired temperature.
The High Heat function operates at 800 watts.
-To select, turn the Rotary Control ring to the HIGH heat position.
3) Oscillation ON/OFF
• To activate the oscillation, press the OSCILLATE (
oscillate from side to side.
• To turn the oscillation off, press the OSCILLATE (
stop in the direction it was facing when the oscillate button was pushed.
4) Overheat Protection
The heater is equipped with overheat protection, which is activated and powers
the heater OFF if the unit overheats. When the unit overheats and shuts off, the
red Caution light will be lit and will remain lit until the unit cools down. When the
heater cools down, it will turn back on and resume functioning as normal; the red
Caution light will turn off.

CLEANING AND STORAGE
We recommend that the heater be cleaned at least once a month and before
off-season storage.
• Turn the heater to the OFF position and unplug it. Allow it to cool.
• Use a dry cloth to clean the external surfaces of the heater.
DO NOT USE WATER, WAX, POLISH OR ANY CHEMICAL SOLUTION.
• Clean your heater using the above-mentioned steps, then disassemble and pack the
heater in its original container and store it in a cool, dry place.
• The motor is factory lubricated and will require no further lubrication.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If heater fails to operate
• Be sure it is plugged in and that the AC outlet is working. Check circuit breaker in
case of a blown circuit.
• Check for any obstruction. If you find an obstruction, turn the Rotary Control
to the OFF position. Unplug the heater and wait at least ten minutes for it to
cool. Carefully remove the obstruction. Plug the heater back in and restart it as
described under OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS.
• If the heater still does not operate, remove the power cord from the AC outlet and
have the heater serviced by authorized SI product service personnel.
