The default recording duration is 2 hours. When the "REC" bar is displayed, press "REC", and a
"Record Duration box" appears, press [OK] and you can set the recording duration. Press [OK] again to
confirm and then [EXIT] to exit duration setup.
When the "REC" Bar is displayed, press [EXIT] then the "REC" bar will disappear. A "REC" icon is
displayed on the upper-left corner.
To stop the recording, press [STOP] and after you confirm, the recording will stop.
We advise using a USB high speed item (USB disk or HD) to record. However, the compatibility with all
USB items available is not guaranteed. The supported system files are FAT, FAT32 and NTFS.
14.2 Time Shifting (512MB minimum free space)
If you set the time shifting function to "OFF" and you press the pause button, the programme will only
be paused.
To activate the time shifting function, you need to confirm that "Time Shift" in "Main Menu → Media+ →
PVR configuration" is "On".
The video data will be stored in the "Time Shift Buffer". When the DVB-T receiver is in time shifting
mode, you can rewind and watch the programme from the beginning while the device is still recording.
Press the play button to pause the programme and press play again to start watching.
Using the "PLAY", "PAUSE", "FB" and "FF" keys, you can watch/pause/fast backward/fast forward the
programme.
Press"STOP" key to exit the time shifting mode and return to the live programme.
14.3 PVR Configuration
In the "Main Menu → Media+ → PVR configuration" menu, you can set the following functions:
1. Preferred Storage: USB partition (select the logic unit to store the data)
2. Time Shift Time (min): you can reserve the time of time shifting. From 10 to 60 minutes.
3. Record Type:
"TS" → Transport Stream format (*.dvr). This format can only be played on the DVB-T receiver.
"PS" → Program Stream format (*.mpg). This format can be played on your computer.
4. Standby mode: In this mode it is possible to record and/or watch a programme.
5. Time Shift To Rec:
"On" → When you press "REC", the data in the time shift buffer will be stored in the recorded file.
"Off" → When you start to record, it just records from the current time.
6. Time Shift:
"On" enable the time shifting
"Off" disable the time shifting
7. Record Recovery:
If power accidentally cuts during recording, the last recording will be continued when the power is
functioning again.
Disc format: System file FAT or NTFS.
