Before Use:
1.
Carefully remove your heater from its shipping container. (The shipping container can be
reused for off-season storage)
2.
Ensure that your heater's Power Control Switch is in the 'O' position.
3.
Place your heater on a firm, level surface.
4.
Completely uncoil the power cord, and connect your heater directly into a120 Volt,
grounded AC electrical outlet.
CAUTION: Ensure that the plug fits tightly into the electrical outlet. A loose fit can cause
overheating and damage the plug.
NOTE: The power cord and the plug may feel warm during normal operation.
NOTE: The power cord has a polarized plug (with one blade wider than the other) that
will only fit in a polarized outlet one way. If it does not insert easily try reversing the plug.
If it still does not fit contact your electrician to replace your outlet.
DO NOT defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.
CAUTION: TO PREVENT ELECTRIC SHOCK MATCH WIDE BLADE OF PLUG TO
OPERATION
1.
Place the heater on a flat, level and stable surface.
2.
Plug the heater into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
3.
To switch on rotate the control switch from 0(off) clockwise to position I for 400W heat
setting, rotate the switch to position II for the full 800W maximum the heat setting.
4.
When the heater is not in use, set the control switch to the 0 (off) position and unplug
from the wall socket.
HEAT SAFETY FEATURES
Safety grill: The heater is equipped with a safety grill at the front to protect the
heating elements. This part of the heater can get extremely hot. Do not block this grill
as it could cause fire.
