Place the self-tapping screws down into the pocket hole and drive with a cordless
drill until tight. Your joint should be tight, flush and extremely strong.

Step 4: Plugging the Pocket Holes
Place a plastic plug into the drilled hole, swab some glue inside, then sand the
surface.
Tips for getting the most out of your pocket hole tool:
For safety, clamp parts to a work surface before drilling pocket holes.
**NEVER HOLD THE TOOL AND PARTS IN YOUR HAND WHILE DRILLING.**
Use a corded electric drill with a speed of 2000 rpm or higher for drilling pocket
holes.
Use a cordless (battery) drill/driver with an adjustable clutch feature to drive
screws.
