General Safety Instructions
• Before commissioning this appliance, please read the
instruction manual carefully.
• Please keep these instructions as well as the guarantee
certificate, the sales receipt and, if possible, the box and
inner packaging.
• The appliance is intended exclusively for private use, not for
commercial use.
• Always remove the plug from the mains socket when the
appliance is not in use, when attaching accessory parts,
when cleaning the appliance or whenever you are
interrupted. Switch off the appliance before unplugging it.
Pull on the plug, not on the cable.
• In order to protect children from the dangers associated with
electrical devices, never leave children unsupervised with
the appliance. Select a location for the appliance that
ensures children cannot gain access to it. Make sure the
cable does not hang down.
• Test the appliance and its cable regularly for damage. If
there is damage of any kind, the appliance should not be
used.
• Do not repair the appliance yourself but take it to the nearest
authorised service centre.
• Keep the appliance and the cable away from heat, direct
sunlight, moisture, sharp edges and such like.
• Never leave the appliance unattended when in use. Switch
off the appliance whenever you are away from it, even if it
is only for a moment.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors.
• Under no circumstances must the appliance be placed in
water or other liquids or come into contact with them. Do not
use the appliance with wet or damp hands.
• If the appliance becomes wet or damp, remove the plug
from the mains socket immediately. Do not touch the water.
• Use the appliance only for its intended purpose.
