tom of the cylinder will fit into the center hole
on top of the cylinder mount in base. Pull the
pre-attached leaf chain in both sides up and
over the chain sheave on top of the cylinders.
Refer to figure 8 for Floor Plate Style Lift and
figure 9 for Overhead Beam Style Lift (Fig.8-9,
pag.24).
STEP 13: Connecting the hydraulic hoses as
shown on figure 8 for Floor Plate Style Lift. and
figure 9 for Overhead Beam Style Lift.
STEP 14: Short-current: continue with the wi-
ring to the power unit and micro-switch which
is mounted on the posts (Fig.1-A).
Install micro-switch the normally closed electri-
cal circuit, see (Fig.1-1-A).
1. Make a hole with a diameter of 9/16"
2. Drill three holes with a diameter of 17/64"
with reference from the center of post.
3. Place the tube holder (1) and secure with hex
bolt 1/4" x 3/4"
4. Place the galvanized pipe (2) and secure with
hex bolt 1/4" x 2"
5. Place the tube protector (3).
6. Place microswitch bracket (4) and secure
with two hex screws 1/4" x 3/4"
7. Pass the cable through the hole that was
made in step 1.
8. Wire the micro-switch of the post to the
power switch unit as shown in the wiring dia-
gram.
STEP 15: For Floor Plate Style Lift., mount the
floor plate as shown in figure 4.

STEP 16: Install the swing arms on the carriagcs
using the included 1/2" diameter pins. Check
to make sure the rack on the lock should fully
engage with the gear on the arm.
STEP 17: Adjust the carriage cables tension; ad-
just each cable to approximately 1/2" side-to
side play. Check the latch releases to insure the
carriage is still sitting on the appropriate latch.
STEP 18: Remove the vent plug from the pow-
er unit and fill the reservoir. Use a Ten Weight
(SAE-lO) non-foaming, non-detergent hydrau-
lic fluid. The unit holds approximately twelve
quarts.
STEP 19: Make the electrical hookup to the
220V Single Phase Power Unit. It is recom-
mended that a 220 Volt, 20A twist lock plug
be installed in the power line just ahead of the
power unit's size wire for a 20A circuit.
