Accuracy
Healthy Living monitors have been clinically tested against a
scientific device called a sphygmomanometer, considered the
gold standard in blood pressure measurement. All Healthy Living
monitors have performed equivalent to measurements taken
with this scientific device and are within the accuracy limits pre-
scribed by the American National Standard for Electronic or
Automated Sphygmomanometers.
Special Conditions
All Healthy Living blood pressure monitors are safe and accu-
rate to use with arrhythmias such as atrial or ventricular prema-
ture beats and atrial fibrillation.
Using and Changing the
Batteries
Open the battery cover on the bottom of the unit
and insert the batteries as shown. Make sure the
polarities (+ and -) are placed correctly.
Close the battery cover and all LCD segments will
appear on the screen within 3 seconds.
If you choose to use the AC Adapter, do not put the
batteries in the monitor. You may want to save
them for use during travel or a power outage.
