Notes
• The manifold should be placed so water drains
away from the house. If not using culinary
water, it is recommended that a filter is used
upstream of the manifold.
• If static water pressure exceeds 80 PSI, a
pressure regulator should be used.
• All pipe threads should be sealed using thread
seal tape.
Caution
• Check local codes for height requirements on
anti-siphon valve installations.
• Do not over-tighten.
• Check and adhere to all plumbing codes

Inline Valve System
1. Hand-tighten the manifold end cap (A) to
the end of the 1, 2, or 3 port manifold (B).
If expanding a Sprinkler Valve System or if
additional manifold ports need to be added at
a later date, the end cap can easily be removed
and ports can be added using a double swivel
union (C).
2. The double swivel union is used to connect
multiple manifolds. Hand-tighten using the
swivel to the end port of each manifold.
3. Connect a PVC swivel adapter (D) to the
opposite end of the manifold from the end cap.
4. Use PVC cement to connect a ¾" sprinkler
mainline to the PVC swivel adapter. Note: If
mainline is not ¾" PVC, use an appropriately
sized coupler.
5. Tighten a 1" swivel adapter (E) to each side
of the female threaded valve (F). 2 swivel
adapters are needed for each valve you are
PN 57181-24 rB
installing. Example: If 3 valves are being
installed, 6 swivel adapters will be needed. A
wrench and pipe thread seal tape should be
used to tighten the adapter into the valve to
prevent leaking.
6. Attach the valves with swivel adapters to each
manifold port. Note: Install valve so the flow
direction arrows on the valve body follow the
flow of water away from the mainline to the
sprinkler lines.
7. Connect either a PVC transition adapter (G) or
a ¾" poly adapter (H) to the swivel adapter.
For PVC Transition Adapter
1. Hand-tighten the PVC transition adapter to the
swivel adapter.
2. Connect PVC pipe to the PVC transition
adapter using PVC cement. If using ¾" pipe the
PVC will be inserted inside the PVC transition
adapter. If using 1" or larger pipe a PVC
coupler can be used to transition the manifold
to the larger PVC pipe.
For Poly Adapter
1. Hand-tighten the ¾" or 1" poly adapter into the
swivel adapter.
2. Connect ¾" or 1" poly tubing following standard
poly tubing methods. A tubing clamp should
be used to tighten the poly tubing onto the poly
adapter.

Anti-Siphon Valve System
1. Tighten the 1" or ¾" transition adapter (B) into
valve (A). A wrench and pipe thread seal tape
should be used to tighten the adapter to the
valve to ensure leaking does not occur.
2. Hand-tighten the anti-siphon valve with
transition adapter onto the anti-siphon
extension (C). Note: 2 transition adapters
are needed for each valve being installed.
Example: If 2 valves are being installed, 4
transition adapters will be needed.
3. Use PVC cement to attach the coupler (D)
to the extension. A second extension will
be glued to the opposite side of the coupler.
Note: Each anti-siphon extension comes with
a coupler. Only 1 coupler is needed for the
assembly. The extra coupler can be used on
the PVC Swivel Adapter (E) to connect to a 1"
PVC mainline.
4. The anti-siphon extensions from the valve
outlet should be tightened to the PVC
transition adapter (F) or ¾" or 1" poly adapter
(H). The extensions from the valve inlet should
be tightened to the manifold ports (G).
5. Hand-tighten the manifold end cap (I) to the
end of the port manifold.
