INTENDED USE

• The QCC-DRV CH4 is intended to be used in nautical applications to control the colour and adjust the brightness of
RGBW LED light sources in constant current.
• For fire-prevention reasons, install the QCC-DRV CH4 in a ventilated, controlled-temperature environment, protected
from dust and humidity. Do not expose the dimmer pack to rain or humidity.
• Any other use should be considered improper and unpredictable.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The QCC-DRV CH4 is a module to adjust light intensity and colour in a RGBW
system.
This function is active only if the device is coupled and appropriately connected
to Quick
QCC-PLT 300.

INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE

• The device must be placed in a suitably protected distribution board so that it can operate under the environmental
conditions indicated in the general specifications for use, and is not within reach of personnel who are not qualified.
• Always disconnect the supply voltage during installation and maintenance operations.
• Make the connections following the best practices, using cable of adequate type and size that are appropriate for the
environment conditions.
• Critically inspect your work immediately after installing or servicing the product.
OPERATION
The QCC-DRV CH4 receives an input control signal on two wires from the QCC-PLT 300 by Quick
power and the instructions to be turned in constant current power for the four output channels.
These four channels in constant current drive the LED RGBW light sources. With electrical installation at 12V, each QCC-DRV
CH4 drives up to three RGBW LED light sources. At 24 V, it drives up to six.
Wiring, terminals and cables
Considering the high currents involved, a few precautions on wiring are in order:
• The maximum length of the wires used for the control signal is 200 metres.
• Use cables having an adequate cross-section.
• To connect the QCC-DRV CH4 to the RGBW LED light sources, use shielded Ethernet cables (FTP), type CAT5e and with
RJ-45 male-to-male connector.
* The RJ-45 male-to-male connector is not supplied together with the QCC-DRV CH4.
