angeschlossen werden.

Spannungsversorgung montieren
1. Spannungsversorgung auf die Hutschiene setzen
Beschädigungsgefahr!
ACHTUNG
Verpolung der Spannungsversorgung führt zu Schäden am
Gerät. Beim Anschluss der Spannungsversorgung auf die
Polung achten.
2. Spannungsversorgung unter Berücksichtigung von
Abisolierlänge und Anzugdrehmoment (
) gemäß Bild
an ein Netzteil anschließen. Abisolierlänge: 6 mm,
Anzugdrehmoment: 0,5 Nm
Hinweis! Das Netzteil ist nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten.
3. Gerät über die PE-Klemme mit dem Potentialausgleich ver-
binden.
Optische Signalisierung/Fernsignalisierung
Gemäß Bild
kann eine Fernsignalisierung angeschlossen
werden. Beim Abtrennen eines Schutzmoduls schaltet der
Wechslerkontakt von 11/12 auf 11/14.
Störungen beheben, Gerät warten
Anzeige der Spannungsversorgung alle 2-4 Jahre, nach einem
Blitzeinschlag oder nach Auslösen der Fernsignalisierung prüfen:
– Ist die optische Anzeige rot, ist eines der angeschlossenen
PDP-OS-Schutzmodule defekt. Das entsprechende Oberteil
muss ersetzt werden. Ist auch das Unterteil beschädigt,
muss das gesamte Schutzgerät ersetzt werden.
– Ist die optische Anzeige erloschen, Eingangsspannung der
Spannungsversorgung prüfen.

– Verpackung wie Hausmüll
– Schutzgerät wie Elektronikabfall
Die örtlichen Müllentsorgungsvorschriften beachten.

Product description
Power supply for PDP-OS pluggable data line protection with
visual and remote signalling. Suitable for DIN rail mounting.
Target group
The device may only be mounted and connected by an electri-
cian.

– Ensure that they are de-energised and secure them against
unintentional switch-on.
– Do not mount the device during a thunderstorm.
Mounting the power supply
1. Place the power supply on the DIN rail

ATTENTION
Risk of damage!
Reverse polarity of the power supply will lead to damage to the
device. When connecting the power supply, observe the polarity.
2. Connect the power supply to a power supply unit while
observing the stripping length and tightening torque (
according to Figure
. Stripping length: 6 mm, tightening
torque: 0.5 Nm
Note! The power supply unit is not contained in the scope of
delivery.
3. Connect the device to the equipotential bonding via the PE
terminal.
Visual signalling/remote signalling
Remote signalling can be connected according to Figure
When a protection module is disconnected, the changeover
contact switches from 11/12 to 11/14.
Rectifying faults, maintaining the device
Check the display of the power supply every 2–4 years, after a
lightning strike or after triggering of the remote signalling:
– If the visual display is red, one of the connected PDP-OS
protection modules is defective. The corresponding plug-in
arrester must be replaced. If the base is also damaged, then
the entire protection device must be replaced.
– If the visual display has gone out, check the input voltage of
the power supply.
Disposing of the power supply
– Packaging as household waste
– Protection device as electronic waste
Comply with the local waste disposal regulations.

Montar la alimentación eléctrica
1. Colocar la alimentación eléctrica en el raíl simétrico

Una polaridad inversa de la alimentación eléctrica provoca
daños en el aparato. Observar la polarización al conectar la

2. Conectar la alimentación eléctrica a la fuente de alimenta-
ción teniendo en cuenta la longitud de cable pelado y el par
de apriete (
) según figura
6 mm, par de apriete: 0,5 Nm
Nota: La fuente de alimentación no se encuentra incluida en el
volumen de suministro.
3. Conectar el aparato a través del borne PE con la conexión

Señalización óptica/señalización a distancia
Según la figura
se puede conectar una señalización remo-
ta. En caso de desconexión de un módulo de protección el
contacto inversor conmuta de 11/12 a 11/14.
Solución de fallos, trabajos de mantenimiento en
el aparato
Comprobar el indicador de la alimentación eléctrica cada 2-4
años, tras un impacto de rayo o tras activarse la señalización a
distancia:
– Si el indicador luminoso está rojo, uno de los módulos de
protección PDP-OS conectados es defectuoso. Debe susti-
tuirse la tapa correspondiente. Si también está dañado el
zócalo, debe sustituirse todo el dispositivo de protección.
– Si el indicador luminoso está apagado, debe comprobarse
la tensión de entrada de la alimentación eléctrica.
Desechar la alimentación eléctrica
– Deseche el embalaje como residuo doméstico
– Desechar el dispositivo de protección como residuo
electrónico
Tener en cuenta la normativa local de eliminación de residuos.
